Adult Alternative Pop/Rock CD – Now that he has his own studio and label, Joseph Arthur must feel a lot of freedom when it comes to recording material, and this newfound liberation is most certainly evidenced on Let’s Just Be, his second release on Lonely Astronaut. The album has the feel of an improvisational session, as if Arthur called up his band late one night, asked them to bring their instruments, showed them the sketches of 16 songs he’d been working on, and then told them to play (the occasional spoken direction of “then we go into a verse” only helps this theory along). Arthur is a talented writer, but there’s an air of sloppy experimentation, of demos and B-sides and other things that probably won’t interest more than the heartiest fan. There are some worthwhile tracks here — the sad and lovely “Take Me Home,” the poetic “Chicago” — but unfortunately, these are few and far between the Mick Jagger-esque falsetto screeching, the cocky ’70s-rock guitars, the repetitive lines of songs like “Shake It Off,” “Diamond Ring,” or “Let’s Just Be.” Arthur spends more of his time meandering around different riffs and rhymes (like in “Lonely Astronaut,” which clocks in at 20 minutes, at least a quarter of which is an acoustic guitar layered with emerging and disappearing instruments, the word “I” sung continuously on the fourth beat). Unlike another prolific writer, Ryan Adams, who limits the accessibility of his wanderings to his website, Arthur is packaging his as a legitimate album. This may be creatively beneficial for him, and it may be a necessary part of his composition process, but for those not involved, it’s less enlightening and interesting. – Let’s Just Be (CD)

I want to work from home for a variety of reasons. Not having a car, living in a town with no job opportunities, and the nearest "city" close to thirty miles away are just some of the issues. Are there websites or companies that offer legitimate work at home chances without asking for money or trials? I have done some research and all I can find are scams that take your money.
Hi Holly,
A JOB should have an application process, interview process and is not something you should have to PAY for or just fill in your name, email address, etc. to ‘join’.
If you live in the US and are interested in virtual assistant type jobs, I will be glad to send you a link to some legit sites. I would HIGHLY recommend you avoid these posts of "free to join" offers. They aren’t JOBS, and very rarely do you make any significant money for the time spent.
You can contact me through my profile here on answers.

im pretty good at video editing and i have tons of software and equipment. how hard would it be to start a business online doing that? people could just send me videos to edit, like a wedding for example, specify how they want it, and paypal me money to do it. simple work. then i send the finished product back to them.
its just an idea i had. i guess i could set up a small website. what is the best way for me to go about doing this?
- The first thing to do is to convince people visiting your site that you are NOT a crook only after their money.
- The second thing you should do is to determine how good you really are. with today’s gadgets even I can do some video editing.
- At this stage you should decide whom are your clients and how best to target them. Maybe a website is not the best way maybe you should start with your community… once you decide the profile of your clients then you will be ready to choose the following:
- Pricing
- Advert.
- Sales Strategy
etc…
Don’t think that establishing a successful business on-line is in any way easier than establishing a brick and mortar one. You will need to be much more convinced of the idea and have a lot more passion for it to succeed.
Good luck

I’d like to know what sort of training and materials are required to become a search Engine Optimization/ Marketing consultant.
SEO Books will be outdated very quickly. Your best source is to first have an excellent understanding of web development, html, asp, design concepts and design standards.
You need to take online courses. These can be expensive from the top online schools but worth it in the end. You need to sign up fro the best feeds, ezines, forums that are online.
You need to be familiar with Google webmaster guidelines, ppc, link building, sem and social networking.
You have to know how to market yourself as a professional. You best bet is after training find a mentor who can guide you and teach you the ropes.
Learn how to search for what you are looking for as well. If you want to do SEO and SEM, then know how to find best information online. There are many and what I feel is best you may not based on your time, budgets and so on. So do some heavy research and reading as that will help you grow as well.
I have been told that there are legitimate work at home computer jobs that do not cost you to get into. Only problem is, I can’t find out where they are…..If anyone knows of any legitimate data entry or processing without up front cost or trainning needed, please respond…..Thanks!
The work from home jobs that aren’t scams actually require work on your part – and if you’re in need of money soon then you’re likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build – so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn’t true ( and those that are true sure didn’t make that kind of money when they first began ).
http://my-data-entry.blogspot.com/
Time & effort required – but do your own research on what is best for you, don’t take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public website.

I have other ideas that may help – one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself – try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don’t have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc – they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.
