Number one would be to make sure that you have a goal and that you are determined to make that goal–that nothing is going to stop you. There are going to be so many valleys that you are going to go through, but that you are absolutely determined to make it. And I think that it shown over and over that persistence is the key to really starting a business and sticking with it and making it successful.

The second thing that I would tell them is a well known business fact: revenue is on the outside, costs are on the inside. So spend as much time as you can on the outside during the times that people to going to listen to you: spreading your message, networking and finding out what people need. And maybe it’s going to be evening hours, early morning hours or weekend hours that you devote the time internally to get yourself organized to set up that infrastructure and get going.

So one thing is persistence and the second is get out there where the revenue is and make sure it’s coming in.

Anybody know a legitimate work at home on computer company?

I want to work on my computer from home so I don’t have to put my kids in daycare with some strange person. I don’t know how to find real legitimate companies that offer jobs where you really can work from home. PLEASE HELP!!

I am a stay-at-home mom and I just had my first baby 10 months ago. I have been looking for a legitimate work at home job that doesn’t require me to be in front of my computer or a phone from 9-5 but that can make some money. I don’t want to put my son in daycare either!

I was doing surveys online, but they seem to take a little while and you don’t end up making much money from them. I think those are better suited for college students who don’t have a mortgage to pay.

I have checking www.wahm.com. It’s a work at home website for moms and there are job posted on there every day, but I’ve yet to find something that will fit with my schedule and that’s legit.

A few months ago I did find a website that I thought was interesting. It came across as "cheesy" at first, but once I started reading and found out what the program really was, I was intrigued. I also liked that it’s NOT MLM, tier, or any other "upline" type business. Those, most times, require to you have parties, make cold calls, etc… You DO have to work for this business though–which is what caught my attention. I am VERY skeptical about getting something for free. Nothing is really ever free and making money isn’t an exception. I did LOTS of research on this company and I would recommend you do the same before making your decision. I have been making a steady $400 per week working about 15 hours or so.

This is one of the most expensive parts of building of such a website. And you are unlikely to be able to make it by your own unless you know HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript. I must warn you that you will have to invest in such website professionally designed and developed at least $2500. But it will be paid-off soon if your business is really good. More over you will probably need to invest some money in advertising. So it’s up to you to decide whether you would like to go online.
