Then seek out job opportunities that fit either of those criteria - they might not be labeled &quot;marketing&quot; but will give you valuable experience. For instance, I have a writing background and I ended up with a great marketing job in online copywriting. As for SEO, you can learn that on the job -- but they&#039;ll be more apt to hire you if you&#039;re trying to learn it on your own. Read a book about SEO, get a site, experiment with it.
