Couldn’t agree more. Yes, I’m ranked on the first page of google for create a website and get over 13,000 visits per day from thousands of other keywords related to web design. I do this full time so it’s worked out pretty well for me I’d say.

Meta keywords are …
Meta keywords are really not important. Google ignores these nowadays.
Also, 80 characters in the title and h1 sounds a little to much for me. I would say about half of those, and the keyword(s) should be used early in the tag.
The TITLE and the TEXT are the most important parts in SEO. Also, you should have the keyword in BOLD, which indicates its importancy. This makes Google think this word is important, and you’ll get a higher rank.

Just use unique meta-keywords, have a title and an h1 with a length of about 80 letters, have a lot of good content and post your Link into Blogs etc.
By the way – Lisa, that’s important for you, too – use alt-attributes in the anchor-tags!
